These codes have somewhat variably the properties 21S09 ‘Other OR procedure for injuries’ and 14S90 ‘Significant operation for obstetrical patient’.
14S90 is not critical – this property is only used to indicate that the intervention at issue may be part of delivery care without indicating that the patients DRG assignment would be changed. However, the property must be the same in all linked interventions. 21S09 is more problematic but even in this case the property rarely affects the grouping.
In the SWE version the properties have been removed from some of the linked codes
PHV10 has no 21S09 but PHT10 has both 21S09 and 14S90
PHT13 has both 21S09 and 14S90
PHV13 has neither
PHV14 has neither
PHT99 has 14S90 but no 21S09
TPH10 has neither
In the other national versions there are similar situations.
Either all codes must have both 21S09 and 14S90 or none of the codes should have them. The latter seems more appealing, but the properties will be removed from all inked codes.
In any case minimal
