Finnish national DRG-center have got information from one hospital district concerning unlogical grouping when maindx O730 or O722 and NCSP code LCB25 is used, LOS 1day. The case should be assigned to DRG 377O, but it ends up in DRG 477O. If the LOS were >2 days, it would be assigned to DRG 377N. It seems that there is problem with assignment of short therapy cases.
The reason for this is that the DRGlogic FIN is missing the row 114D039000 that has been replaced by the row 114D039001 (of the COM version).
The properties should be as in COM version. Now only cases with anaesthesia codes are assigned correctly to DRG 377O.
The error seems to have existed already in 2014 version but has remained undetected until now. Maybe most hospitals code also the anaesthesia in these cases.
This is an obvious error that must be corrected as soon as possible.
2014 version cannot be corrected, for this year the hospitals should add the anaesthesia code to the patient data (some kind anaesthesia is probably necessary for the intervention).
