Description

National ID: C456
Initiated: 2014-12-09
Initiator: Ralph Dahlgren

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Problem
The initiator pointed out that an adult patient (age > 6574 days) with dx from groups F93, F94 and F98 is assigned to DRG Z76O-N/477O-N 'Patient is too old for the diagnosis' (Patienten är för gammal för diagnosen).
The following dx codes have been questioned:

There are some more codes that has 00P02 but they cannot be used on adults due to the fact that dx is allways fatal in childhood or that the problem must be corrected by surgery in childhood.

Analysis
The Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare 2014-12-10
KLT (Department of rules and permissions, Classifications and terminology ) confirms that these codes can be used for an adult.

Suggestion
The Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare 2014-12-10
Sweden wants this change to be introduced in NordDRG SWE 2016
Technical change
The property PDGPRO 00P02 should be removed from ICD+ codes F9300, F9310, F9320, F9330, F9380, F9390, F9410, F9420, F9480, F9490, F9820, F9830, R6200 and all linked national codes
DRG change
A few cases will be assigned instead of DRG Z76O/N to other relevant DRGs.

Martti has in his technical changes included F980 to remove PDGPROP 00P02 from. Sweden do not have that property for F980 and it should be removed in Common. F981 is also a code that should not have PDGPROP 00P02.

F9800 shall not have 00P02 which it does not have. F9810 'Encopresis' should neither have 00P02 which it either has.
I remove F9800 from the list to avoid misunderstandings.
