Description

Problem
NCSP code HAX014/HA3RT Breast lesion destruction with radiofrequence/Rintarauhasen kasvaimen koagulaatio radiologisessa ohjauksessa has currently no property at all. However, the code under question is a demanding radiologic procedure which should have respective PROCPR.
The reason for having no PROCPR is related to false mapping in NCSP+ table.

Analysis
Currently, the cases with code HAX014/HA3RT mainly group into DRG 930O Breast problem, short therapy w/o significant procedure.
The mean cost of the cases with HAX014/HA3RT is ca 1500 EUR, whereas the mean cost of all cases in DRG 930O is ca 300 EUR.

Suggestion
To add PROCPR 30D72 Demanding diagnostic procedure of breast in MDC 30 to the code HAX014/HA3RT.

DRG change
After the suggested changes cases with NCSP code HAX014/HA3RT will be grouped to DRG 930Q Demanding diagnostic procedure of the breast where the cases fit also from cost point of view.

Cost analysis
No cost analysis needed, it is about the error correction.
